Transglobal Peru Cargo S.A.C. handles delicate dairy products for research in Rome
Our X2 Asia Global and Cold Chain Member Transglobal Peru were entrusted by a client to ship dairy samples required urgently in Rome to undergo important laboratory research. It was imperative that the samples were maintained in a frozen state throughout their transit on a KLM flight from Lima.
With Transglobal’s expertise in handling perishable and frozen cargo, a solution was decided on how to transport the goods trouble-free and to ensure they remained frozen on their journey door to door.
The product, weighing only 1.2 kilos was packed into an insulated container with 15 kg of dry ice blocks on top and bottom of the product.
This was then placed in a corrugated cardboard carton measuring LxWxH 40x50x40 cm and dispatched by a KLM flight taking approximately 15 hours to arrive safely at the destination as guaranteed by Transglobal Peru.
