Member Holidays
Lately we have received a requests from members to send out broadcasts to notify the fellow membership about holiday closings.
As we are a network of about 100 companies and growing, it has become increasingly difficult to reasonably notify members about closings through broadcasts to the membership.
As the Network Development Manager, I would like to remind the X2 Elite membership that we reserve space in the X2 Elite Weekly Bulletin that is delivered to the membership every Thursday. With an abundance of messages flooding inboxes, it could become increasingly possible that an announcement regarding your specific holiday announcement will be ignored.
As looking out for the best interests of the membership and best ensuring that the notification of holiday closings is seen by individual members, we urge members to submit their holiday closings well in advance of the actual closing dates. By doing so, it allows the X2 Team to create the X2 Elite Weekly Bulletin and include member holiday closings.
Also, I would like to remind members that we have added the Members Holiday Calendar. This is a resource that is open to all members. On this page, members can add their own holidays and keep the membership informed as well as view the calendar and check what holidays are being celebrated by the other members in the network.
I would like to reiterate that we provide multiple avenues for the notification of the membership to closings due to holidays. Due to the options that are available, we believe the best route for members to announce their holiday closings to the membership is a combination that utilizes the Member Holidays Calendar and also by supplying the Network Development Manager with the information about your office holiday closings by emailing shane@x2elite.com.
The X2 Team aims to best serve the membership and as the Network Development Manager, I hope that the membership takes advantage of the newly added calendar that has been specifically created for holiday listings and I encourage the membership to supply us with dates well before the release of the X2 Elite Weekly Bulletin every Thursday.
